Ranchi, April 25: The MLAs of the ruling parties reached Raj Bhavan on Monday against the alleged confusion spread by the state BJP for getting lease of stone mines by Chief Minister Hemant Soren by being the Minister of Mines Department.

The MLAs submitted a memorandum to Governor Ramesh Bais.

Referring to the memorandum submitted, JMM MLA Sudivya Kumar said that the six points pointed out by the Supreme Court and the High Court under Section 9A of the Representation of the People’s Act, 1951, do not contain the matter of taking mines. The MLAs have demanded from the Governor that the memorandum given by them should also be sent to the Central Election Commission, as he sent the BJP memorandum so that the confusion spread by BJP gets over.

Those who met the Governor included Minister Satyanand Bhokta, former minister cum JMM MLA Mathura Prasad Mahato, MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Baijnath Ram, Rajesh Kachhap, Vixal Kongadi, JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya.

During this, the MLAs categorically rejected the talk of any kind of crisis in Hemant Soren’s government.

Supriyo Bhattacharya said that for a few days an atmosphere of destabilizing and toppling the government is being created by the leaders of the state BJP. The Raj Bhavan has also been kept in a state of confusion on many things. In today’s meeting, the Governor has assured that constitutional provisions will not be allowed to be violated in any way in the state.

JMM MLA Sudivya Kumar said that since the day the JMM government has been formed in the state, the BJP is talking about toppling the government. Regarding the three by-elections, the BJP used to claim that the Hemant government would fall, but it was proved wrong.

“The government runs on the basis of majority in the house. It does not fall from the speech of a person. The coalition will run the government for five years,” he added.

Rajesh Kachhap said that Babulal Marandi is roaming around saying that the government is falling. They are plotting to defame by doing so, he added.
