Daltonganj, March 4: The prohibitory order under section 144 of CrPC has been revoked from Panki in Palamu with immediate effect from today. The Prohibitory order was promulgated in Panki on /from February 15 following the outbreak of the communal fracas.
Sadar SDO Rajesh Kumar Sah said the sub-divisional police officer Lesliganj and circle officer Panki have given a written report about normality in Panki and hence it is revoked.
A peace committee meeting was held in Panki on March 2 wherein both the communities had resolved to maintain peace and harmony and this revocation to section 144 from Panki is in the context of normality, peace and harmony prevailing there read the revocation order of the SDO.
