Ranchi, Jan.17: Jharkhand assembly speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto today held an online meeting with the power secretary, finance secretary and managing director of Jharkhand Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited regarding the power problems in the area.
In the meeting, he gave instructions to the departmental officers for installation of a grid to strengthen the power system in Jamtara district giving proper emphasis on Nala assembly constituency area. Apart from this, he also instructed them to take all necessary steps to ensure zero power cut.
The speaker also reviewed the work of rural electrification and gave instructions on connecting all the villages with power and ensuring that none of the villages in Jharkhand remain disconnected from power.
The speaker gave his instructions to departmental officers, and got a positive assurance from them.
On the occasion the speaker also held a meeting with the petition committee and reviewed the work of the revenue and land reforms department, cabinet and vigilance department and industry department.
