Ranchi, Nov 24: The Jharkhand Teacher Training College Association has written to the director of the Higher and Technical Education Department regarding online counselling of students for admissions to B Ed Course in the session 2022-24.

As per the letter, the JCECEB released the results for admissions on November 16, 2022. However, the decision is yet to be taken by the universities regarding a date for counselling. The letter requests the director to make sure that there is no further delay in beginning the counselling as this may affect the overall course in the long run.

The letter further requests that JCECEB be allowed to conduct the counselling. Meanwhile, when questioned in this regard, JCECEB officials stated that it is the responsibility of the universities to begin counselling and invite students for admission to their B Ed colleges.

The letter also mentions that the ratio of seats available and the CML rank holders is very low, which may result in several seats remaining vacant at the institutional level.

Meanwhile, officials of neither of the officials of state universities could be contacted for a remark.
