Jharkhand Swimming Association to organise swimming competition after two years

Ranchi, May 16: After a gap of two years, Jharkhand Swimming Association is organising 12th Jharkhand State Sub-Junior & Junior Swimming Championship to be held at Vir Budhu Bhagat Aquatic Stadium at Hotwar, Ranchi from June 5.

The championship will be held as per the guidelines of Swimming Federation of India circular on April 16. The junior group will have two sub groups having players ranging from age 12 to 14 and 15 to 17 years. The Sub junior group will have players ranging from age 10 to 11.

The different events to be held are Free Style (50m, 100m, 200m, 400m), Back stroke (50m, 100m), Breast stroke (50m, 100m), Butterfly stroke (50m, 100m) and 4x50m Freestyle rally.
