Jamshedpur, July 19:  Most parts of Jharkhand are expected to witness restricted rainfall activity for the next four days at least as the twin systems have become weak, said weathermen today.

The cyclonic circulation over south Jharkhand and its neighbourhood now lies over south Chhattisgarh extending up to 1.5 km above the mean sea level.

Moreover, the low pressure which had originated from the northwest Bay of Bengal has also weakened.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level was today passing through Bikaner, Narnaul, Shivpuri, Mandla, Ambikapur, Chandbali and thence southeastwards to Westcentral Bay of Bengal.

Currently,  a cyclonic circulation lies over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Coastal Odisha extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.

Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the northwest Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.

Weatherman said light to moderate rain is expected to take place over the state in the next three to four days.

They ruled out the possibility of any heavy rainfall activity over Jharkhand in the next four to five days.
