Ranchi, Feb.22: The state tourism department restricts entry of common people in Patratu Lake Resort till March 4 from today in the wake of the G-20 meeting on March 2 and 3.

The decision was taken today as there is a plan to visit delegates to the resort and the tourism department director thought it was proper to ban entry of common people to ensure proper security of the resort and make proper arrangements to welcome as many as 60 delegates of developing and developed countries are expected to reach Jharkhand capital in a two-day visit.

Like the tourism department, Ranchi Municipal Corporation has also started preparing for the same meeting at its level. The civic body in order to make the entire city clean and beautiful has deputed artists to paint walls beside prominent locations of the city with Sohrai paintings. The divider is also being painted. At the same time, the roadside stalls were stopped from being installed.

Two days ago the Anti Terrorist Squad of Jharkhand Police had also performed a security drill in the resort.
