Ranchi, March 10: 1996 batch IAS officer, Vandana Dadel, has been given additional charge of home department. At present, she is principal secretary of personnel, administrative and official language department with additional charge of industry department principal secretary.
The post was lying vacant after Rajiv Arun Ekka was shifted to the Panchayati raj department following serious allegations against him by the BJP.
A notification to this effect was issued today.
According to the notification, rural works division principal secretary Ajoy Kumar Singh (1995 batch IAS) having additional charge of finance department principal secretary has been given another additional charge. He will now take care of the cabinet secretariat and vigilance department principal secretary.
The notification says that secretary to chief minister Vinay Kumar Choubey having additional charge of urban development and housing department secretary, excise and prohibition department secretary, besides JUIDCO and GIADA managing director will also have another additional charge of information and public relation department (IPRD). Choubey, a 1999 batch IAS officer, will take care of the IPRD as secretary.
