Ranchi: Dr. Ravindra Rai, the newly appointed working president of the Jharkhand BJP, has reaffirmed the party’s deep connection with the state’s formation. Reflecting on his long journey with the BJP since 1984, Dr. Rai said, “BJP is not just a political party for me—it is a family with shared values and dedication. I have had the privilege of being part of the journey from grassroots campaigning to state-level leadership, and I am honored to have been trusted with this significant responsibility.”
Upon his appointment, Dr. Rai expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Jharkhand Election In-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Election Co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma, and State President Babulal Marandi for placing their faith in him during a crucial time for the party and the state.
Commitment During a Critical Election Phase
Dr. Rai emphasized that he has been given a critical role during the election phase to ensure seamless coordination between party workers and leadership. “I believe that the Jharkhand envisioned by Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani must come to life. Jharkhand was born from the ideals of the BJP, and I will not allow it to stray from that vision,” he asserted.
“With the collective strength of our party, we will ensure that Jharkhand moves forward, thriving politically, economically, and socially. The BJP’s commitment to Jharkhand is unwavering, and we will do everything in our power to safeguard its future,” Dr. Rai added, making his intentions clear to focus on development, local employment, and ensuring the aspirations of the people of Jharkhand are realized.
