J&K: Forces gun down one JeM terrorist in Shopian

New Delhi, Nov 11: An early-morning Friday encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Kapren area of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the death of a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist. This encounter was conducted by the Indian army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

According to Kashmir Zone Police, encounter has started at Kapren area of Shopian. Police and Army are on the job.

“One member of JeM terror outfit killed, identified as Kamran Bhai alias Hanees who was active in Kulgam-Shopian area. Search is still going on,” ADGP Kashmir said.
