Kupwara, May 26: Three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants were killed in an ongoing operation in Kupwara, north Kashmir on Thursday.
“All three terrorists killed, affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT. Identification is being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered,” said Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar.
According to the police, the operation was launched in response to a particular tip from Kupwara Police about a militant infiltration attempt in Jumagund, village Kupwara.
