New Delhi, Nov 3: The Indian Army has killed three terrorists in order to thwart a significant infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in the Poonch region of Jammu and Kashmir, according to sources.
On Thursday, the Indian Army noticed some people moving inexplicably close to the Line of Control in the Poonch sector. When the military confronted the intruders, the terrorists started firing. One terrorist’s body and two AK-47 rifles were found during the ensuing combat, along with one pistol.
In the region, a search effort has been started. More information is awaited.
