Pulwama, Aug 10: The security forces in Jammu and Kashmir stopped a terrible tragedy on Wednesday. Today in Pulwama, police forces found and detonated an improvised explosive device (IED), averting a major catastrophe.
Security troops in Pulwama recovered a 25–30 kilogramme IED near Tahab Crossing after acting on specific intelligence provided by the Pulwama Police.

“An IED weighing approx 25 to 30 kg was recovered near Tahab Crossing on Circular road in Pulwama by police and security forces. A major tragedy has been averted by specific input generated by Pulwama Police,” said ADGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police.
The IED, found this morning around 7.50 am, has now been defused.
