Ranchi: A joint delegation of political parties, student organisations and social groups met Jharkhand Industry Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav on Thursday over alleged irregularities and paper leak issues in the JPSC and JSSC recruitment examinations, holding detailed discussions on reforming the examination system and addressing students’ concerns.

Delegation Demands SIT Formation and Reliable Domestic Exam Agency

The delegation demanded that the state government form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct a fair investigation into alleged irregularities across all competitive examinations, including JPSC and JSSC. They also called for competitive exams to be conducted through a trustworthy domestic agency and sought timely disbursement of scholarships to students.

Delegation Seeks Fair Probe into Allegations Against Protest Groups

The delegation further stated that if there were allegations of any organised group’s involvement in the ongoing protest against exam irregularities, those claims should also be investigated fairly and based on facts, to ensure the credibility of the genuine democratic movement led by actual aspirants remains unaffected.

Minister Assures Positive Consideration of Students’ Concerns

Industry Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav listened attentively to the delegation’s demands and assured that the government would consider students’ concerns and suggestions with a positive and sensitive approach, adding that the issues raised would be taken up with the relevant departments for necessary action.

Representatives from Multiple Parties and Student Bodies Attend

The meeting was attended by RJD state general secretary Irfan Ahmad Ansari, RJD district president Dharmendra Mahto, Congress leader Yogendra Singh, CPI(ML) leader R.N. Singh, CPI leader Ajay Kumar, SFI’s Danish Khan, AISF’s Ehtesham Parveen, along with representatives from various other political, student and social organisations.JPSC JSSC exam row, Sanjay Prasad Yadav, SIT probe demand, Jharkhand student protest, exam irregularities, Irfan Ahmad Ansari, competitive exam reform, Jharkhand politics, student delegation, exam agency
