Ranchi: Hundreds of candidates faced serious trouble after the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) official website suddenly stopped working on the final day of application submission. Applicants reported that the portal repeatedly froze, hung, or remained stuck on “Please Wait,” preventing them from completing login and form submission.

Candidates Fear Missing the Final Submission Window

Many candidates said they had been trying continuously since morning, but the profile login and application submission process was not completing. Several applicants expressed concern that if the server does not recover soon, they may be unable to apply within the deadline.

High Traffic Suspected Behind the Technical Failure

The issue comes as the last date for online applications for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services (Direct Recruitment) Competitive Examination–2025 falls today. Meanwhile, the last date for exam fee payment has been set as February 16, 2026. Due to heavy traffic on the portal, the server is believed to have come under extreme load, leading to the technical breakdown.

Demand for Deadline Extension or Alternative Arrangement

Candidates have urged JPSC to extend the application deadline or introduce an alternative mechanism so that no eligible applicant is left out due to technical failure. As of now, the commission has not released any official statement on the issue, and candidates continue to wait for the website to function normally.
