Ranchi: Addressing concerns over the recently conducted JSSC-CGL exam, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission’s acting chairman, Prashant Kumar, assured that the examination was conducted without any malpractice. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Kumar emphasized that for the first time, digital coding was used in the exam, and each question paper was embedded with a QR code at the top to prevent cheating.

Kumar highlighted the security measures put in place to ensure fairness in the examination. A total of 9,217 jammers and 15,236 CCTV cameras were installed across exam centers. The exam was held on September 21 and 22.

Answer Key to be Released

The chairman further stated that the answer key for the exam will be released on September 26, and scanning of the OMR sheets under CCTV surveillance will begin on Thursday at the commission’s office. Kumar assured that the results will be declared as soon as possible.

The JSSC-CGL exam saw valid applications from 639,900 candidates, out of which 304,769 appeared for the exam.
