Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on January 28 dealt a major blow to Satvat Info Sol Pvt. Ltd., the agency outsourced to conduct the JSSC-CGL examinations. The court rejected the agency’s petition challenging its blacklisting by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

The controversy began after the JSSC-CGL exam paper was leaked, prompting JSSC to issue a notice to Satvat Info Sol Pvt. Ltd. seeking an explanation. Following the agency’s unsatisfactory response, the JSSC blacklisted the company. In response, Satvat Info Sol Pvt. Ltd. approached the Jharkhand High Court, contesting the blacklisting order.

The single bench of the court had earlier upheld the JSSC’s decision, validating the blacklisting of the agency. Satvat Info Sol Pvt. Ltd.’s appeal against this decision has now been dismissed, further affirming the JSSC’s actions.

Advocate Sanjoy Piparwal represented JSSC during the proceedings, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations and defending the Commission’s decision.

This judgment reinforces the accountability of agencies involved in critical public examinations, setting a precedent for maintaining the integrity of recruitment processes.
