Ranchi: A group of students is planning to approach the Jharkhand High Court, seeking a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in the JSSC-CGL examination. Reports suggest that around 500 students have already agreed to become petitioners, with efforts underway to include thousands more.

This collective move could mark the first time such a large group of students files a writ petition in the state’s High Court, signaling their determination to seek justice.

Existing PIL in High Court

It is noteworthy that a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) titled Prakash Kumar vs. Government is already under consideration in the High Court. During the December 17 hearing, the Chief Justice’s bench imposed a stay on the ongoing process and scheduled the next hearing for January 22. The court has directed the government to investigate and submit a report by the mentioned date.
