JSSC extends date for applications in JMLCCE 2022 for 455 posts

Ranchi, Sept 15: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has extended the dates for inviting applications for the recruitment of 455 matriculation-level posts of insect keeper and equivalent, and skilled craftsman and equivalent in the Department of Industries.

Also known as the Jharkhand Matriculation Level Combined Competitive Examination (JMLCCE) 2022, the process of applying for these posts is to start from September 30, 2022, while the last date is October 30, 2022. Earlier, the date for application was from September 10 till October 10. Interested candidates can visit the official website of JSSC at www.jssc.nic.in and complete the application process.

Posts

JSSC has invited applications for the recruitment of 455 vacant matriculation-level posts of insect keeper and equivalent, and skilled craftsman and equivalent. Appointments will be made for 268 posts of insect keeper and equivalent, and 187 posts of skilled craftsman and equivalent.

Meanwhile, the last date for filling up the examination fees is November 1, while the same for submitting photograph and signature is November 3.

Payscale

Insect keeper and equivalent – Rs 18,000 – Rs 56,900

Skilled craftsman and equivalent – Rs 19,900 – Rs 63,200

Qualification

It is mandatory for the candidates to have passed Matriculation and Inter from a recognized institute to apply for the posts.

Age

The minimum age limit of the candidates has been fixed at 21 years while the maximum age limit has been kept in the range of 35-40 years as per different categories.

Application fee

The general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 while the SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand state will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 50.

Selection Process

According to the notification, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination which will be OMR based.
