Judicial officers plant samplings at Daltonganj civil court premises

Daltonganj, June 5: A fleet of judicial officers led by the principal district and sessions Judge, Palamu, Pradeep Kumar Choubey carried out a plantation drive on the occasion of World Environment Day at its orchard in the premise of the civil court today.

The Secretary, district legal services authority, Arpit Srivastav said we had 20 plantations today. It corresponds to 20 judicial officers who were present today. There is one plantation each for each of the 20 judicial officers.

The plantation had mixed varieties. Some were fruit-bearing, some ornamental and some flowery said Arpit Srivastav.

Para legal volunteers along with a small band of lawyers were present at the plantation drive.

The civil court orchard is like ‘an oxygen field where some of us try to de-stress ourselves from the monotony of the job, said one lawyer here today.
