Ranchi, Feb. 16: Retired Jharkhand High Court judge Justice H. C. Mishra has been picked up to be the new Lokayukta of New Delhi. The collegium, according to sources, has cleared his name. His appointment will be notified after the Assembly elections in Punjab, sources said.
He had superannuated on March 26 last year. He had been elevated as an Additional Judge of Jharkhand High Court on April 27, 2011 and took oath as a Judge of Jharkhand High Court on January 31, 2013. He had been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Jharkhand from 30th August, 2019 to 16th November, 2019.
