Justice Sarasa V Bhatti sworn in as Kerala High Court’s Chief Justice

Thiruvananthapuram, June 1: Justice Sarasa Venkatanarayana Bhatti took the oath of office as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court on Thursday.

Arif Mohammed Khan, the governor of Kerala, administered him the oath at the Raj Bhavan.

Justice Bhatti, who was born in 1962, began practising law in the High Court of Judicature of AP in Hyderabad in 1987 after enrolling in the Andhra Pradesh Bar Council.

Prior to it, he had been the Kerala High Court’s Acting Chief Justice since April 24.

In 2013, Justice Bhatti took the oath of office as an Additional Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. In June 2014, he was named Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
