Chennai, Nov.22: Renowned south superstar Kamal Haasan has tested Covid positive. He had recently returned from the United States, where he launched his clothing line, Kamal’s House of Khaddar.
Kamal Haasan revealed that he experienced a little cough after returning from the United States in a tweet. He has now been admitted to a Chennai hospital. He cautioned everyone to be cautious, noting that Covid-19 had not vanished.
His tweet in Tamil read, “After my return from the US, I had a slight cough. When I got tested, my Covid-19 results turned out to be positive. I have been quarantined at a hospital in Chennai. People should realise that Covid-19 hasn’t gone away and must take utmost precaution (sic).”
He returned to the country to resume shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The action thriller ‘Vikram’ is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film also features a diverse group of actors, including Arjun Das, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Shivani, and Myna Nandhini, among others.
