Ranchi, Aug. 11: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivkumar expressed his desire to visit Deori temple in Tamar during his meeting with fire brand tribal leader Bandhu Tirkey at the former’s residence in Bengaluru.
Tirkey, who is a member of the Jharkhand government’s coordination committee and State Congress working president, shared the information with lagatar24.com sending a Whatsapp message.
Tirkey through the message said that Shivkumar expressed his willingness when he had gone to honour him with traditional cloth of Jharkhand and a memento for defeating the BJP in recently held assembly election.
Trikey said apart from visiting the temple he also promised meeting with party workers in the state to encourage them to fight against the BJP. He explained the far-reaching impact on national politics of the Congress party’s victory in Karnataka.
Tirkey said the deputy CM expressed his respect for the people of Jharkhand for their calm and simple nature besides hard-working capacity.
