Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital provides free spectacles to children and elderly at eye checkup camp

Ranchi, Sept 18: The Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital on Sunday concluded its two-day blood donation, health protection & eye checkup camp. Dr Bibbhuti Kashyap was felicitated on the occasion for his contribution in the field of ophthalmology for young Jharkhand.

Present on the occasion were BJP State President Deepak Prakash, BJP State Organization General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu, MLA CP Singh, MLA Naveen Jaiswal, MLA Amar Bauri, Ranchi Mayor Asha Lakra,  and Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargiya among several others.

The second day of the camp began with free eye examination of 600 children and other citizens who came to the camp by Dr. Bharti Kashyap, Director of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital and her team.

During this, free eye drops and glasses were provided to the people after checkup. Free glasses will also be provided to all children in need of glasses. Dr Kashyap further announced that in a similar manner, glasses will be provided to children free of cost on September 30 at 11:00 am in the premises of Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital as well.

Patients requiring different types of eye surgeries will be brought to Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital and operated free of cost here under the Ayushmann Bharat Scheme.

Dr Kashyap further stated that by installing four units to check the spectacles of the children in a manner similar to the hospital. Free of cost spectacles were also provided to the elders on the spot.
