Hyderabad, March 4:  Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who is now camping in the national capital, will travel to Ranchi on Friday to fulfil his vow to support the families of jawans killed in the Galwan Valley battles near the Chinese border, said the officials.

KCR, along with his Jharkhand counterpart Hemant Soren, would present the cheques for Rs 10 lakh each to two martyrs’ family members at his official residence in Ranchi according to the announcement on Thursday night.

Colonel Santosh Babu, a Telangana resident who was killed in the Galwan violence, had previously received backing from the Telangana administration.

Following that, Rao said that the state government will assist 19 Army servicemen who had been killed in the same clash. In this context, the CM will travel to Jharkhand to provide financial help to the families of two martyred jawans, according to the announcement.
