Keep strict vigil on social media during Ram Navami: Ramgarh SDO

Ramgarh, March 26: Ramgarh Sub-divisional Officer Mohammad Javed Hussain instructed the officials to pay special attention to social media during Ram Navami.

During a Peace Committee Meeting regarding the Ram Navami festival at Ramgarh police station on Sunday, Mohammad Javed Hussain provided important information to all the officers and peace committee members for the peaceful organisation of the festival.

He directed the officers to inspect sensitive areas and take action against anti-social elements. All the officials must ensure that if rumours come to light in any area, quick action should be taken on it and against the person who had spread the rumour. At the same time, he also asked the members of the peace committee to immediately report rumours of any kind to the concerned authorities. He also appealed to give information on a telephone number 06553 222005 of a police station or district control room.

He also instructed all members of the Ramnavami Puja Committee to take out the procession from the prescribed route. He gave important instructions to the concerned authorities not to change the route under any circumstances and to ensure the same. Along with this, he directed the officials to closely monitor all activity in their respective areas and take immediate action in case of any doubt.

In view of the peaceful organisation of the festival, the Sub-Divisional Officer instructed all officials to pay special attention to the use of DJs and strict action in cases related to offensive songs played by DJs from any area.
