Mumbai, April 22: The Yash-starrer historical action thriller KGF: Chapter 2 is in its second week and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. It continues to be the most popular film in India.
‘KGF 2’ is a blockbuster, according to trade expert Taran Adarsh. In its first week of release in Hindi alone, the film has surpassed the Rs 250 crore mark. According to the analyst, the film would gross Rs 300 crores in its second week.

‘KGF 2’ has become the highest grossing film in Week 1 post pandemic. Taran Adarsh also shared the detailed breakup of the film’s collection.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ directed by Prashanth Neel was released on April 14th. It’s the sequel to his critically acclaimed 2018 film ‘KGF: Chapter 1’. ‘KGF 2’ is the most costly Kannada film to date, with a budget of Rs 100 crores. It is produced by Hombale Films.
