In Lakhimpur violence case, police arrested two accused and took 3 accused into custody. Luv Kush and Ashish Pandey have been arrested. Meanwhile, Police raids are going on for the arrest of Ashish Mishra.

The court has ordered the government to submit the status report of the investigation so far by tomorrow. Apart from this, it has been asked whether the people against whom FIR was lodged, were arrested or not. Earlier, Chief Justice NV Ramanna said that the court has taken suo motu cognizance of the entire matter. A three-member bench headed by him will hear the matter. Now further hearing will be held tomorrow. Notably, in the Lakhimpur violence case, Bahraich farmer Hari Singh had filed a case of murder and criminal conspiracy against 15 people including Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra. He has accused Ashish of crushing the farmers.
