Ranchi, March 5: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav who has been admitted at the paying ward of RIMS, once again went to the dental department for a checkup today.
In view of Lalu’s ill health, he is being treated by the team of RIMS Medical Board. Due to the problem of Lalu Prasad’s teeth, the doctors of the Dental Department of RIMS had decided to do Root Canal Treatment (RCT) for him whose first sitting was held on February 24 and again he was called on February 28 (Monday) for the second sitting. After which he went today for the third sitting.
The doctor treating Lalu said that the latter has got relief from the problem of toothache. He was called for a routine checkup. At present, no medicine related to teeth is being given separately.
In order to save Lalu’s tooth from decay, doctors had done RCT on his right side’s Molar Teeth. Under the next procedure, his teeth will be capped. Lalu is being treated by Dr Ajay Shahi and Dr Buta Venkatesh, the senior doctors of the Dental Department.
Lalu Prasad Yadav has been sentenced to 5 years in the case of illegal withdrawal from Doranda Treasury and is presently admitted in the paying ward of the RIMS.
Amidst tight security, he was taken to the Dental Department by an ambulance of RIMS. During this, the police of the local Bariatu police station were present.
According to the jail manual, 3 people can meet Lalu Prasad Yadav on Saturday. To meet Lalu, the visitor will have to take permission from the jail superintendent.
