Patna, July 12: A hearing was held today (July 12) in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court regarding the land for job case. This hearing took place on the supplementary charge sheet of CBI. While giving great relief to Lalu Yadav as well as Tejashwi Yadav, the court has postponed the hearing till August 8. In fact, the CBI informed Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court that it would take a month to get prosecution sanctions against former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and some railway officials. After these arguments, the court adjourned the debate on the point of cognizance for August 8.
Notably, during the years 2004 to 2009, when he was the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former Chief Minister of Bihar, was accused of giving jobs by taking land from Group D candidates of Railways. After this, the CBI registered a case against 16 people in the case along with Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti.
