Latehar: Mass drug administration program will be run by the health department for the eradication of filariasis. Under this, from July 26 to 30, people will be fed the medicine of filariasis. This instruction was given in a meeting chaired by DC Abu Imran. During this, the DC said that the organ affected by the filarial disease, swells severely. Due to which the person has to face a lot of problems.
DC Abu Imran further said that this disease can be avoided by taking anti-filaria medicine. The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to the people of the district to make themselves safe from filariasis by taking medicine in this Mass Drug Administration program and make Latehar district free from this disease.
