Jamshedpur, Aug 26: IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre issued a forecast of light to moderate rain in northern Jharkhand today. Weathermen said the rest of Jharkhand would witness a dry spell.
No warning has been issued for today. Weathermen said the cyclonic circulation which was hovering over Jharkhand is gradually becoming weak.
The monsoon trough was today passing through Bankura and Digha.
Meanwhile, rain data suggested that the deficit came down to 26 per cent today. Against a normal of 751 mm, the state has so far actually received 557 mm, a deficit of 26 per cent.
