Jamshedpur, Oct 7: Several isolated places over Jharkhand would experience light to moderate thundershowers and lightning, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
Weathermen said satellite pictures today suggested the formation of dark clouds in several districts, especially in southern and central parts of the state.
A trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and the neighbourhood to central parts of north Uttar Pradesh across Telangana, Vidarbha and west Madhya Pradesh extending up to 3.1 Km above mean sea level.
Met chart also indicated no significant synoptic condition over Jharkhand today.
Weathermen said the southwest monsoon was in its final phase and that it was expected to completely withdraw from Jharkhand sometime in the second week of October.
