In Nepal, the earthquake occurred 69 kilometres from Jumla. The National Center for Seismology estimates that the earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometres and struck at roughly 1:30 p.m.
Throughout the last few months, there have been many earthquakes in Nepal. On January 24, an earthquake with a 5.8 magnitude strength hit Nepal.
