Ranchi, May 2: The MP-MLA court has framed charges against BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash and Kanke MLA Samri Lal for their negligent act during the corona pandemic.
The sections under which MP-MLA court judge Anamika Kisku framed charges include 266 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease danger), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease danger) and Epidemic Act.
The case arose after an FIR was registered against them at Kanke police station after they led a farmer’s movement during the pandemic in 2021.
