Ranchi, Aug,24: Manoj Kumar Sinha, the suspended principal of D.A.V. Public School, who is accused of molestation, received no further relief from the court.

He was denied release by Ranchi Civil Court Additional Judicial Commissioner SM Shahzad, who had reserved judgement in his bail petition on August 22.

Sinha has spent the last 86 days in the Birsa Munda Central Jail. After a staff nurse reported him for molestation at Argora thana, police had already detained him in Jamshedpur.

The defendant had made a second appearance before the court to request his release on bond. After the chargesheet for the case was submitted on July 25, this plea was entered on July 29.

Jharkhand High Court advocate Khusboo Kataruka had opposed Sinha bail plea in the court.
