Lucknow, June 8: A 16-year-old boy killed his mother when she refused to let him play mobile games. The child then locked his 10-year-old sister in a room and sat with his mother’s body for three days at his home in Lucknow’s PGI section, Aldico Colony.

When the mother’s body began to decompose and stink, the boy made up a false story and contacted the authorities. However, after two and a half hours of inquiry and interrogation, cops discovered the truth.

Sadhna, the boy’s 40-year-old mother, and his 10-year-old sister resided with him. His father is a Kolkata-based army officer.

When his mother forbade him from playing mobile games on Sunday, he became enraged. He quickly took up his father’s licenced revolver and shot her in the head, killing her instantly. He locked his younger sister in another room and left the revolver on the bed.

According to police, the youngster spent three days in the residence with his mother’s body. They claimed he kept spraying the room freshener to keep the odour at bay.

On Tuesday evening, when the bad odour began to spread, the youngster called his father and notified him of his mother’s murder. The father reported the incident to the police.

According to police, the kid attempted to deceive them by telling them that an electrician had come home and murdered his mother. However, after a two-and-a-half-hour inquiry, authorities discovered the truth and arrested the suspect.
