The latest music video “Chilgam” featuring Malaika Arora and Yo Yo Honey Singh has hit the internet but not without controversy. While fans were initially excited after the teaser release, many viewers have now taken to social media to criticize Malaika’s dance moves, calling them “vulgar” and “over the top.”

Mixed Reactions from Fans

In the video, Malaika is seen performing in a shimmering outfit alongside Honey Singh. However, several users commented that her moves appeared “awkward” and “forced,” with some suggesting the video “should have been deleted.” Others compared it unfavorably to actress Triptii Dimri’s recent viral dance clip.

This reaction contrasts sharply with the praise Malaika received earlier for her performance in “Poison Baby” with Rashmika Mandanna, where fans admired her energy and fitness even at 52.

Celebrity Support and Industry Reaction

Actress Mahhi Vij came out in support of Malaika, commenting on the teaser, “Hottest woman! CT!” Meanwhile, neither Honey Singh nor Malaika Arora has issued a public statement on the controversy.

Malaika, known for her iconic performances in chartbusters like “Chaiyya Chaiyya,” “Munni Badnaam Hui,” “Anarkali Disco Chali,” and “Maahi Ve,” continues to remain a trendsetter in Bollywood item numbers.
