Patna: The dangerous repercussions of online gaming addiction among the youth have surfaced yet again, this time in Patna. In a tragic incident reported from the Agamkuan locality, a young man identified as Vikas Kumar ended his life after his wife objected to his excessive PUBG gaming habit.
According to reports, Vikas had been married for just one year, but his addiction to the online game PUBG created constant stress in his marital life. Family members stated that frequent disputes occurred between Vikas and his wife over his gaming habit.
At the time of the incident, Vikas was alone at home as his wife had gone to her parents’ house. Tragically, he was found hanging from a noose in his room. Relatives mentioned that Vikas had previously threatened suicide several times.
