Dumka, Oct 22: A person has been shot dead in Lodhna village of Jama police station area of the district. The deceased has been identified as Farooq Shaikh (55 years old).
After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The police are actively investigating the case.
While the exact reason for Farukh Sheikh’s murder is not yet known, there are suspicions that it might be related to a land dispute. The police are conducting raids to apprehend the perpetrator.
