Ludhiana, Feb 7: In a major security breach, a flag was reportedly thrown at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s car in Punjab’s Ludhiana today, striking him in the face.

Sunil Jakhar, the Punjab Congress in-charge, was driving the automobile in which Rahul Gandhi was sitting, with President Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and state party chief Navjot Singh Sidhu in the back seats.

From a very close distance, a man was seen throwing the flag at Rahul Gandhi’s window. Rahul was sitting in the car’s side-front seat, his window open to greet his followers.

This is Punjab’s second security breach. PM Narendra Modi’s convoy has previously encountered a security failure in the state when his automobile was stalled for 20 minutes at a flyover.
