Mandar bypoll: Congress leading in sixth round by 2025 votes

Ranchi, June 26: The polling is still underway for the Mandar bypolls. By the sixth round, Congress has maintained its lead over BJP and AIMIM by more than 2000 votes with a total of 24070 votes. BJP is in the second position with 22045 votes. AIMIM has 9043 votes till now.

Meanwhile, the fifth round also saw Congress in the lead with 19947 votes, while BJP had 19223 votes and AIMIM had received 7365 votes.

Gangotri Kujur had 22045, Shilpi Neha Tirkey had 24070, Subhash Munda had 4562, Dinesh Oraon had 461, Rekha Kumari had 228, Shivpal Lohra had 99, Agni Tirkey had 437, Ashok Oraon had 145, Anand Paul Tirkey had 128, John Tirkey had 156, Dev Kumar Dhan had 9043, Neeraj Oraon had 360, Marshal Barla had 380, Sushil Oraon had 582 votes, while 656 votes were registered as NOTA out of 63352 total votes counted at the end of the sixth round.
