New Delhi, May 12: In the CBI investigation over excise policy, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Friday prolonged former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody until June 2.
Consideration of the charge sheet is pending before the court.
In connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in the formulation and application of the excise policy of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Sisodia was detained by the CBI and the ED.
The CBI claims that Sisodia played the most significant and crucial part in the criminal conspiracy and was actively involved in the formation and execution of the aforementioned policy to ensure the accomplishment of the conspiracy’s goals.
