Ranchi, Dec.15: Two medical colleges of the state got permission to take admission for MBBS courses. One medical college is Medinirai Medical College and Hospital in Palamu while another one is Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital, in Hazaribagh.
A release from the office of the health minister informed this saying that the success came after health minister Banna Gupta took initiatives talking to union health minister Mansukh Laxmanbhai Mandaviya on October 27 this year and improving infrastructure of these medical colleges.
Last year permission for these medical colleges was cancelled due to lack of infrastructure.
In the wake of permission granted for admission, the state government released a list of as many as 88 senior residents and tutors who will extend their services in five medical colleges of the state.
The medical colleges include M.G.M.Medical College and Hospital, Jamshedpur, Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital, Jamshedpur and Phulo-Jhano Medical College and Hospital, Dumka besides other two mentioned above.
