Jamshedpur, June 2: If the predictions of IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre are any indication, mercury is expected to soar and dry conditions would prevail in Jharkhand for the next few days.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre did not issue any alerts. It only said clear and dry conditions would prevail in Jharkhand.
Weathermen ruled out any Norwester or thunderstorm activity due to adverse situations.
According to weathermen, Loo, the hot and dry wind is expected to blow in several parts of the state especially in North Western and Southern parts for the next three to four days.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over the state. Only northerly to north-westerly wind prevails at lower levels over the state.
According to predictions made by India Meteorological Department, the south- West monsoon in India will arrive on June 4.
The first monsoon rain would hit the Kerala coast.
As the month of June begins, IMD will continue providing regular updates on the progress of the southwest monsoon and alert citizens with its forecast warnings.
