Minor girl sexually exploited in Rajrappa on pretext of marriage

Ramgarh, June 14: A case of sexual exploitation of a minor girl on the pretext of marriage has come to light in Badkipona under the Rajarappa police station area on Wednesday. The mother of the minor has filed a complaint against a youth of Chitarpur in Rajarappa police station on Tuesday.

According to the application given at the police station, a 20-year-old youth resident of Chitarpur sexually assaulted her daughter on the pretext of marriage.  Later, when the pressure of marriage was made, he retracted. She further said that the 20-year-old youth is in a relationship for about a year.  He also clicked objectionable photos and videos and is now blackmailing the girl.  The young man also reached her house on the night of 10 June and forcibly picked up the daughter and took her to the garden and had a physical relationship.

He dropped the girl outside their house at 2 am.  When the girl came home, she informed about the incident.  On June 11, she called the young man to her home and asked about the whole incident, then he held her daughter’s hand and said, “Mummy, I love her and I will marry her and make her my wife.”  Now the young man is refusing to marry asked her to forget all that happened.

Due to this incident, the girl is being subjected to mental harassment.  Police should take action against the youth and get justice.  In this regard, station in-charge Harinandan Singh said that the matter has come to his notice.  The process of action is going on.
