MANOJ SINHA

Ramgarh, Mar 5: Some unidentified miscreants stole Rs. 2.80 lakh by breaking the left door’s windscreen of a Maruti car that was parked on the main road in Ramgarh on Saturday noon.

Victim Ramesh Dangi alias Chikor is a resident of the Bhadaninagar Nagar OP area. He reached Ramgarh on Saturday by his Maruti WagonR car. Ramesh’s friend Kamlesh Sharma was also present in the car.

Ramesh withdrew the money from the Bank of Baroda. On his way back, Ramesh parked the car opposite HDFC Bank and went inside the bank for some work leaving Kamlesh Sharma near the car.  At around noon, Kamlesh also left the car for a short time.

This gave the miscreants a chance to steal the money kept inside the car. They broke the glass of the rear gate of the car and took the money.

The victim, Ramesh, is the younger brother of the AJSU district president Dilip Dangi. He had withdrawn the money to put in the Hitachi ATM located in Bhurkunda Birsa Chowk.
