New Delhi, Feb 17: Amid the current situation in Ukraine and its neighbour Russia, which has stationed troops and attack helicopters near the border, raising fears of an invasion, the Indian government has lifted restrictions on the number of flights to/from Ukraine under the air bubble agreement.
“Any number of flights as well as charter flights can operate,” said the Ministry of Civil Aviation in a statement.
“MoCA has removed restriction on number of flights & seats b/w India-Ukraine in Air Bubble arrangement. Any number of flights and Charter flights can operate. Indian airlines informed to mount flights due to increase in demand. MoCA facilitating in coordination with MEA,” said MoCA.
