Chandigarh, Sept 11: Deepak Mundi, Kapil Pandit, and Rajinder sent to 7-day police remand by Punjab’s Mansa Court on Sunday.
Deepak Mundi, the fugitive gunman, was apprehended by Punjab Police at the West Bengal-Nepal border, marking a significant milestone in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder investigation on Saturday. During the raid, his two colleagues Kapil Pandit and Rajinder were also taken into custody.

Sidhu Moose Wala, a singer and politician, was shot and killed on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district by unidentified gunmen. He was travelling in a jeep with his cousin and a friend, both of whom were hurt in the incident.
In Jawaharke village, Lawrence Bishnoi gang member Ankit Sirsa shot and killed singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala. According to the autopsy report, he was shot 19 times and died within 15 minutes of being hit.
